As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a manufacturing and industrial location, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a strong and approachable presence. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter unauthorized access and protect property.
• Maintain detailed records of observations, incidents, and activities during the shift.
• Work closely with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns or issues.
• Remain alert to any unusual activity or conditions that may require additional response or escalation.
• Support emergency response efforts as needed, following established protocols and procedures for the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
• Act 235 qualification is required for positions in Pennsylvania only.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
