As a Security Officer - Hotel Perimeter Patrol in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a premier hotel location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible throughout the property, and provide outstanding customer service while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and innovation in every interaction.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and employees by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the hotel and resort location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter security-related issues and report any concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with access control and verify identification for individuals entering restricted areas as required by site protocols.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, maintenance concerns, and unusual activities according to company and client procedures.
  • Support emergency response activities, including guiding guests and staff during fire alarms, medical emergencies, or other incidents.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential disruptions and provide reassurance to guests and staff.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • This is primarily a driving post and is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
