As a Security Professional - Armed Entry Control in Boca Raton, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Armed Security Officer specializing in access control, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points and patrolling designated areas at a prestigious location. Your presence and attention to detail will contribute to a secure environment while you provide exceptional customer service and clear communication to all visitors and staff. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the location.
  • Monitor and control access to the premises, verifying credentials and authorizations of individuals entering or exiting the location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of access control activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and the client site.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with visitors, employees, and management to address questions or concerns related to security-related matters.
  • Assist in emergency response activities as appropriate, supporting evacuation or lockdown procedures as directed.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to promote a secure environment for all occupants.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
  • Have at least 6 months of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military roles.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
