As a Security Guard - Access Control Driver in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming environment at a residential location. Your responsibilities include monitoring access points, conducting routine patrols, and providing exceptional customer service to residents and visitors. This post requires driving as part of your duties, so a valid driver's license is necessary. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor and control access to the residential community, checking identification and verifying authorization for entry.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate and detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and access control operations.
• Assist with emergency response activities as needed, following Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
