As a Security Officer - Auto Patrol Response in Normal, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Your role includes monitoring assigned areas, engaging with individuals on site, and delivering exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Observe and report suspicious activities and/or incidents to Allied Universal management and client contacts as appropriate.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help promote a secure environment.
  • Complete required reports and documentation related to patrols, incidents, and daily activities.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and client personnel to support security-related needs within the automotive environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
