As a Security Officer - Armed Commercial Patrols PT in New Orleans, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol commercial real estate locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence to support a secure environment. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for armed security personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a visible security-related presence.
  • Document observations, incidents, and activities in detailed, accurate reports as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as necessary during incidents requiring armed response.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance while representing Allied Universal at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess an armed guard card or license as required by law.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
