As a Security Professional - Unarmed Building Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a commercial real estate location, helping to deter security-related incidents through visible presence and routine patrols. You will interact with tenants, visitors, and the public, providing outstanding customer service and communication while supporting a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or hazards.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
• Assist with access control and visitor management as required by the location's policies and procedures.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding incidents and/or site needs.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of activities, incidents, and/or any unusual occurrences during each shift.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Ability to ride a bike is required.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
