As a Security Professional - Mall Entry Control in Morehead, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming atmosphere within a retail location. You will monitor entrances and exits, verify credentials, and conduct routine patrols to maintain a secure environment for visitors and staff. Your presence and communication skills will play a key role in supporting customer service, while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and putting people first. What You'll Do:

• Assist with access control procedures at the retail location, verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points.
• Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and offering assistance to visitors and staff in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the store and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or activities.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to management and/or law enforcement as directed.
• Support emergency response activities as needed, following Allied Universal and client procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and logs of security-related activities throughout the shift.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
