As a Security Officer – Hospital Support in Monroeville, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will play a critical role in helping to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the facility. Your responsibilities include monitoring assigned areas, supporting staff and visitors, and responding to various situations with professionalism and care. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any unusual activity.
• Support emergency response activities as directed, including assisting with evacuations or other urgent situations as needed.
• Prepare and submit detailed written reports on incidents, observations, and any security-related matters encountered during patrols.
• Collaborate with facility staff and first responders as needed to support a secure and orderly environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Vaccinations required for hospital assignments.
• Ability to work in hospital morgue environments.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
