As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver Full-Time in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic retail environment, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the location. This role requires you to be armed and to drive as part of your daily responsibilities. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using sound judgment and following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter and report suspicious behavior or unauthorized access.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and employees while maintaining a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Document incidents, observations, and any relevant activities during patrols, submitting reports as required by site procedures.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services during incidents or as directed by site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license as required by law.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III armed certification if applying in Texas.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
