As a Security Officer - Aero Defense Patrol in Wichita, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an aerospace and defense location, helping to deter security-related incidents and creating a welcoming environment. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post that requires a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order on site.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, observing for any suspicious activity or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or activities.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to established protocols.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while representing Allied Universal at all times.
• Remain alert to potential hazards or unusual circumstances within the location, and take appropriate action as directed by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
