As a Security Officer - Chemical Facility Access in El Dorado, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Professional assigned to an access control post at a leading chemical and petrochemical location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols. What You'll Do:

  • Monitor and control access points at the chemical and petrochemical location to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain compliance with site-specific protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and its perimeter to observe for unusual activity and report security-related incidents.
  • Follow established procedures for visitor and contractor check-in and check-out, verifying credentials and maintaining accurate records.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal and site-specific emergency response protocols.
  • Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with security-related inquiries and directions.
  • Document and report all security-related observations, incidents, and activities according to Allied Universal and client site requirements.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and local emergency responders as needed for security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
