As a Security Officer - Hospital Patrol Team in Concord, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help maintain a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using de-escalation techniques when needed within a healthcare setting.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter incidents and provide a visible security-related presence.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities in daily reports according to site and Allied Universal requirements.
• Assist with controlling access to restricted areas and verify identification as required by site policies.
• Work collaboratively with facility staff, visitors, and/or patients to maintain a welcoming environment while supporting security-related procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Vaccines are required for hospital posts.
• Ability to restrain individuals is required for hospital posts.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Experience with X-ray screening is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
