What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following protocols appropriate for the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail and mall premises, including the business and its perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and support a welcoming environment.
• Observe, report, and document any unusual activity or security-related concerns encountered during patrols.
• Work collaboratively with location management, Allied Universal team members, and local authorities as necessary to address incidents and/or emergencies.
• Remain visible and approachable while on patrol to assist customers, visitors, and staff with inquiries and directions as needed.
• Follow all site-specific instructions and procedures provided by Allied Universal and the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
