As a Security Officer - Telecom Screener in New Braunfels, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible to those around you. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Screen individuals entering the location to help to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited items in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, as required by site protocols. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of screening activities and report any unusual situations to appropriate personnel.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with visitors, employees, and/or management to address questions or concerns related to entry procedures.
• Support Allied Universal and client expectations by following all policies and procedures relevant to the technology, media, and telecommunications environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
