As a Security Guard - Media Patrol in Monee, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling designated areas within a dynamic technology environment. Your presence and routine patrols will contribute to a secure atmosphere, while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. This role is a driving position, requiring a valid driver's license, and offers the opportunity to be part of a reliable, agile, and innovative team that values people and integrity in every interaction.

What You'll Do:

• Provide excellent customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including both interior and exterior areas, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify any potential concerns.
• Monitor the premises for unusual activity, reporting observations and/or incidents according to established protocols.
• Work closely with site personnel and visitors to address questions and provide guidance related to security-related matters.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and/or other security-related activities as required by the site.
• Support Allied Universal leadership in carrying out additional security-related duties as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
