As a Security Officer - Hospital Patrols in Fredericksburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your presence and attentive service will help to deter security-related incidents while fostering a welcoming atmosphere. You will interact with individuals throughout the facility, respond to situations as they arise, and provide exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare locations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a secure healthcare location.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control and visitor management according to healthcare site requirements.
• Support emergency response activities as needed, including guiding individuals to designated areas and coordinating with first responders.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
