Job Description


As a Security Professional - Unarmed Healthcare Patrol in Malvern, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving position, where you will use your attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills to support a caring culture that puts people first. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the overall security-related needs of the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
  • Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, suspicious activity, or unauthorized individuals on the premises.
  • Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and assisting with visitor management as needed.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and/or emergency personnel during routine activities and incidents.
  • Document all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
