As a Security Guard - CRE Unarmed Patrol Driver in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you’ll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability—giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic commercial real estate location, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence and proactive approach. You will interact with tenants and visitors, providing outstanding customer service while supporting access control and responding to incidents. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling the property by vehicle as needed. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any unusual activities.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and maintenance issues according to site procedures.
  • Assist with access control, visitor management, and other security-related tasks as required by the location's protocols.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site management to address security-related needs and concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
