As a Security Guard - Tech/Media Patrol Driver Full-Time in Manassas, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic technology-focused location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. Your presence and regular patrols help to deter security-related incidents, while your commitment to excellent customer service and communication supports an inviting atmosphere. This is a driving post, requiring you to operate a company or client vehicle as part of your patrol duties. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.
• Monitor the premises for unusual or suspicious behavior and report findings according to established protocols.
• Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with site access and general inquiries while maintaining awareness of security-related concerns.
• Document incidents, observations, and activities accurately in daily reports or logs as required by Allied Universal and site management.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services as directed during incidents or emergencies.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential risks and provide reassurance to those onsite.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
