What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, assisting with conflict resolution and reporting as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail and mall areas, including the business interior and surrounding perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any unusual activities or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives according to established procedures.
• Support access control processes, monitor entrances and exits, and assist visitors or patrons with directions and general information as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• The ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
