Job Description


As a Security Professional - Aero/Defense Facility Monitor in Savannah, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at an aerospace and defense location, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to promote peace of mind, and provide outstanding customer service and communication to all individuals on site. This is a driving post, requiring you to operate a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the aerospace and defense location, including the perimeter and key areas as required.
  • Observe for unusual activity and report any security-related concerns or incidents to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as needed.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members while on patrol.
  • Document security-related events and activities in daily reports and logs as required by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Must have 1 or more years of law enforcement experience or 2 or more years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 or more years of security-related experience.
  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
