As a Security Professional - Unarmed Aero/Defense Patrols in Savannah, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a leading aerospace and defense location, where you'll monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents. Your visible presence and commitment to outstanding customer service will help create a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling the premises by vehicle as well as on foot, responding to situations as needed, and serving as a point of contact for inquiries. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required by site policy.
• Collaborate with site personnel and local authorities as needed to address security-related matters within the location.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or any irregularities observed during patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Applicants must have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 years of security-related experience.
• Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
