As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout a dynamic retail location. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to observe for any unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas, remaining alert for any potential security-related issues.
• Interact with visitors, employees, and/or contractors to provide assistance and information as needed.
• Document and report any incidents, observations, or unusual circumstances according to company and client protocols.
• Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and local authorities as required during incidents or emergency situations.
• Maintain a visible presence in the retail environment to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted activity.
• Carry authorized firearms and adhere strictly to all company and legal requirements regarding their use.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
