As a Security Officer Flex Armed Patrol in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents within a financial institution environment. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help foster a secure atmosphere, and responding to incidents as needed. This armed position requires a high level of professionalism and strong communication skills, as you will interact with clients, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation skills when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the financial institution's premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
  • Monitor access points and observe for unusual or suspicious behavior, reporting findings according to site protocols.
  • Assist with the enforcement of site rules and regulations, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Communicate with Allied Universal management and site contacts regarding security-related matters and incidents.
  • Maintain accurate records and logs of activities, incidents, and patrols as required by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess a valid Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
  • Have 1 or more years of law enforcement experience, or 2 or more years of experience as a security supervisor or manager, or 3 or more years of security-related experience.
  • An armed guard card or license is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
