As a Security Professional - Unarmed Logistics Patrol in Joliet, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help maintain a secure environment. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by performing security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Observe and report any security-related irregularities or suspicious activities within the logistics and distribution environment.
• Assist with access control by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points as required by site procedures.
• Communicate clearly with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly.
• Support site operations by remaining alert and responsive to changing conditions and/or requests from site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
