Job Description


As a Security Professional - Government Patrol Driver in Riverside, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment. This primarily driving post involves conducting routine patrols, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents, and providing exceptional customer service and communication. You will play a key role in supporting a welcoming atmosphere, reflecting Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, and innovation while working as part of a caring and integrity-driven team.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, unusual occurrences, or unauthorized individuals within the premises.
  • Work closely with local staff and visitors to address inquiries and provide assistance as required.
  • Document incidents and maintain accurate records in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client requirements.
  • Remain alert to surroundings and changing conditions while on patrol to help to deter potential problems.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
