As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Aero/Defense in Puyallup, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an aerospace and defense location. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you interact with employees, visitors, and guests, delivering outstanding customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling the premises by vehicle as well as on foot. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas to help maintain a secure environment for personnel and property.
• Report and document any unusual activity, security-related incidents, or maintenance issues observed during patrols.
• Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to support a secure and orderly environment in an aerospace and defense setting.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
