As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor entry points and patrol designated areas within an automotive location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify potential concerns.
• Document and report any suspicious activity, security-related incidents, or policy violations to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client contacts.
• Assist with emergency response activities, including evacuations and coordination with first responders, as needed.
• Maintain a visible presence at access points to help to deter unauthorized individuals from entering restricted areas within the auto industry environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
