Job Description


As a Security Professional - Armed Government Patrol Bike in Homestead, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will patrol government locations to help maintain a secure environment for all visitors and staff. This armed and driving post involves conducting regular patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and, when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing conflict resolution skills as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activities and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential incidents and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or activities.
  • Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during each shift, following Allied Universal protocols.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as needed, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Carry and maintain assigned armament in accordance with company policies and applicable laws while on duty.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be able to ride a bike.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license with Class B and passenger endorsement.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
