As a Security Professional - Telecom Entry Screener in Boise, ID, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener in a dynamic tech-focused location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Your role is key in supporting a secure environment, utilizing your access control, badge management, and customer service skills. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies in a technology-focused environment.
• Screen individuals entering the location, verifying credentials and/or identification as required.
• Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Communicate clearly with team members and site personnel regarding any security-related concerns or incidents.
• Document and report any suspicious activity or incidents according to established protocols.
• Assist with emergency response activities as needed, following established guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
