As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at a prominent government location. You will conduct armed patrols throughout assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents, and provide a reassuring presence for everyone onsite. This position also requires driving responsibilities, allowing you to cover various locations as needed. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional presence.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain order within the location.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities in a clear and timely manner as required by site policies and Allied Universal procedures.
• Collaborate with law enforcement personnel and other emergency responders as needed, following established protocols.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to incidents that require an armed security-related response.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
