As a Security Officer - Unarmed Healthcare Patrols in San Juan Capistrano, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed within a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting staff, visitors, and patients as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of daily activities, incidents, and security-related observations.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff and visitors to support a welcoming and orderly atmosphere.
• Assist with access control procedures, monitoring entrances and exits as required by site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
