As a Security Officer - Armed in Shreveport, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will be responsible for routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence at a food and beverage location. Your role will help to deter security-related incidents while fostering a welcoming environment for all visitors. You will interact regularly with the public, provide excellent customer service, and respond to incidents as needed. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols, both inside the restaurant and around the perimeter of the location, to help to deter unwanted activity and enhance the overall security-related presence.
  • Maintain a visible and approachable security-related presence while interacting with staff and patrons in a food and beverage environment.
  • Monitor premises for unusual activity and report any security-related concerns according to site protocols.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when required.
  • Document observations, incidents, and activities in a clear and timely manner as directed by Allied Universal policies and the specific requirements of the location.
  • Operate communication devices and security-related equipment to support patrol and response duties.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
