As a Security Officer - Armed Retail Patrol in Brownsville, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide outstanding customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional presence.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor entry and exit points, observing for suspicious behavior and reporting any concerns appropriately.
• Collaborate with location management and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns and maintain a welcoming environment.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and any security-related matters observed during patrols.
• Remain alert and prepared to take appropriate action in response to emergencies, alarms, or other incidents at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• At least six months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A Level III armed certification is required for positions in Texas only.
• Applicants must be able to ride a bike.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
