What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor for and report any unusual activity, security-related concerns, or hazards within the retail environment.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of incidents, observations, and actions taken while on patrol.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services if situations arise that require their assistance.
• Assist with access control, verifying credentials, and helping to manage entry and exit points as needed within the retail location.
• Support Allied Universal leadership by providing updates and feedback related to the security-related needs of the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• An Armed Guard Card or License is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A Level III Armed Certification is required for roles in Texas only.
• The ability to ride a bike is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
