Job Description


As a Security Officer - Armed CRE Patrol Driver in New Orleans, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol commercial real estate locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a visible presence. Your role involves routine patrols, supporting a secure environment, and delivering exceptional customer service through clear communication. This position requires both armed and driving responsibilities, allowing you to play a crucial role in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for tenants and visitors. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor for unusual or suspicious activities and report findings according to Allied Universal protocols.
  • Assist with access control and verification of credentials for individuals entering the property.
  • Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and daily activities.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as required.
  • Maintain a professional and approachable presence while on duty.
  • Adhere to all site-specific post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
