What You'll Do:

• Perform screening procedures at designated entry points to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain security-related protocols within the location.
• Provide outstanding customer service by interacting with employees, visitors, and/or contractors in a professional manner.
• Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal and client guidelines.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and utilize problem-solving skills to address issues as they arise.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding areas to help to deter unwanted activity and report any irregularities.
• Support emergency response activities as appropriate, following established protocols for the location.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
