As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, interacting with visitors and tenants, and delivering exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate property and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior or potential hazards within the location.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits as required by site policies.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations for Allied Universal and client reference.
• Communicate professionally with property tenants, visitors, and staff to address questions or concerns related to security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Experience providing customer service is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to work at locations with limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or rustic guard shacks is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
