As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Specialist in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence at a government location. What You'll Do:

  • Provide excellent customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond appropriately during emergency situations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, using problem-solving skills to address and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any security-related concerns.
  • Maintain awareness of the environment and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
  • Follow all protocols for carrying and handling firearms in accordance with Allied Universal and client site requirements.
  • Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities as required.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
