As a Security Officer - Armed Government Patrol in Clinton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a strong presence at a government location. This role requires both armed and driving responsibilities, allowing you to play a key part in fostering a secure environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a visible presence.
• Maintain detailed records and logs of patrols, incidents, and observations as required by site-specific procedures.
• Communicate promptly and clearly with Allied Universal management, site personnel, and emergency responders when necessary.
• Operate and maintain assigned security-related equipment, including radios and access control devices, in accordance with company and site-specific guidelines.
• Assist with the enforcement of site rules, policies, and regulations as required by the location and Allied Universal protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
