As a Security Professional - Museum Patrol Full-Time in Whittier, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence at a cultural institution location. Your role includes monitoring assigned areas, assisting visitors, and providing exceptional customer service while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for any unusual circumstances.
• Monitor the premises of the cultural institution to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious behavior.
• Communicate with staff, visitors, and/or guests to provide assistance and information as needed.
• Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
• Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and location staff to support a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
