Job Description


As a Security Officer - Access Control Driver in Findlay, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols. Your presence and proactive communication will foster a secure environment while delivering outstanding customer service. This position requires a valid driver's license, as you may be responsible for driving as part of your duties. What You'll Do:

  • Monitor and control access to the premises to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or activity within the manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Verify credentials of individuals entering and exiting designated areas to support site-specific policies.
  • Provide excellent customer service while interacting with employees, visitors, and contractors at access points.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter security-related incidents and report any suspicious activity.
  • Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and/or policy violations according to Allied Universal and client procedures.
  • Assist during emergency response activities as directed by site management or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Maintain a visible presence at access control points to promote a secure environment within the manufacturing and industrial setting.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
