As a Security Professional - Retail Patrol in Springfield, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and promote a welcoming atmosphere at a busy retail location. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to guests and staff, and provide outstanding customer service through clear communication and professionalism. This position requires a valid driver's license and involves driving responsibilities as part of your patrol duties. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the well-being of patrons and staff.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any irregularities or suspicious behavior to Allied Universal management and/or local law enforcement as appropriate.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points within the location.
• Document all incidents, observations, and actions taken during the shift in accordance with Allied Universal procedures.
• Support the retail environment by providing a visible presence and offering assistance to customers and staff as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
