As a Patrol Officer in a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling the premises by vehicle while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to observe for any unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted behavior.
• Communicate clearly with team members, management, and local authorities as needed regarding incidents or concerns within the location.
• Document observations, incidents, and/or any security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client requirements.
• Assist customers, employees, and/or visitors with directions, information, and general inquiries while maintaining a visible and approachable presence.
• Support loss prevention efforts by observing for suspicious activity and reporting findings to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
