As a Security Guard - Unarmed Hotel in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and promoting a secure environment for guests and staff. Your visible presence and professional demeanor will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere, while your customer service skills will support positive interactions. You will use technology such as computers and tablets to enhance your patrols and reporting. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the hotel or resort property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious behavior.
• Report and document observations, incidents, and/or hazards according to established protocols.
• Assist guests and staff with security-related concerns and provide information as needed.
• Collaborate with hotel or resort management and Allied Universal colleagues to support a secure environment for guests, staff, and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Five or more years of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Applicants who are comfortable using a computer or tablet are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
