As a Security Guard - Logistics Entry Control Full-Time in Lenexa, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in monitoring and patrolling a dynamic logistics and distribution location. Your responsibilities include conducting regular patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service through clear and professional communication. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises.
• Assist with visitor management, including logging visitors and providing appropriate badges or passes as required by site-specific procedures.
• Help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity through attentive observation and prompt reporting of irregularities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to observe and report any security-related concerns.
• Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies in accordance with Allied Universal standards and client expectations.
• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by addressing inquiries and offering assistance as needed.
• Support emergency response activities as directed, including following evacuation or lockdown procedures when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
