As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol - Utilities Site  in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and create a secure environment at a utilities location. Your role involves conducting regular patrols, maintaining a strong visible presence, and responding to incidents as needed. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor utility infrastructure for potential security-related concerns and report any irregularities according to established protocols.
• Interact with team members, contractors, and visitors to provide assistance and support security-related access control measures.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and activities as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Remain alert to changes in the environment and communicate any security-related concerns promptly to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of experience in armed security, law enforcement, and/or military roles is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
