What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies in a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using Allied Universal training and protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter inappropriate or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control and visitor management as required by site protocols.
• Support emergency response activities according to Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR and first aid certification is preferred.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
