As a Security Officer - Retail Patrol Driver Unarmed in Salem, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed professional with Allied Universal at a retail or mall location, you will conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents, maintain a visible presence, and provide outstanding customer service to staff and visitors. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious behavior, activities, or conditions within the retail environment.
• Assist visitors, customers, and employees with general inquiries and/or directions as needed.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency personnel as required during incidents.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports on all incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted activity within the mall or retail area.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
